Read and agree to the Group Study Rooms Policy
SCHEDULE 3 WAYS. You may schedule a room with this form, by calling 974-5159, or in person at the 3rd floor service desk.
FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENTS ONLY. Group study rooms are limited to use by faculty, staff and students of the University of Central Oklahoma.
THREE PEOPLE MINIMUM, SIX PEOPLE MAXIMUM. If one or two in the group show up and the 3rd member does not, the reservation will be removed.
UP TO ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. Eligible users may reserve a group study room up to one week in advance.
CHECK IN ON 3RD FLOOR SERVICE DESK. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes, then the room released for use by other patrons.
TWO HOURS PER RESERVATION. If there is no reservation for the room after the 2 hours, the room may be reserved up to two more hours, for a maximum of 4 hours per day per group.
INDIVIDUALS ALLOWED TO USE WHEN OPEN. Individuals are allowed to use the group study rooms when they are not reserved or in use by a group, on a first come first serve basis. If a group comes who needs a room and you are in that room, you will be asked by library staff to leave.
MARKERS AVAILABLE. Rooms are equipped with a marker board. Dry erase markers and erasers are available for use at the Third Floor Service Desk.
CABLES AND REMOTES AVAILABLE. Rooms are equipped with a Smart TV monitor. Cables and remotes are available for use at the Third Floor Service Desk.
WATCH YOUR BELONGINGS. Personal belongings are your responsibility and will be removed from the room if left unattended. Personal belongings do not reserve a room.
LIBRARY MATERIALS RESHELVED. Library materials left in group study rooms will be removed and reshelved.
ROOMS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOF. Users should be sensitive to the need for quietness in order not to disturb other library users.
